Because of the sensitive nature of what we do it isn't always easy to share the fruit we see with you. We are so blessed to have a group of brave women who have given us permission to not only share with you all that the Lord did in their lives through just one Healing Hearts group but they wanted to share their picture as well. The following was written by Madelyn the groups' leader. "Sheryl and I just finished our Hem of His Garment group last night and we are privileged to share with you that God was merciful and brought the sweetest soul into His Kingdom with such amazing grace. A beautiful 28 year old, from a Buddhist/Catholic home who said that she "did not believe in God", received Jesus into her life. We are hoping that the next step we take with her will be to take her through the First Love study. We invited Pastor Frank to come for the last hour of group and our client shared with all of us how and when God revealed Himself to her....when her confusion turned to faith. She didn't even have her own Bible when she began the group. She came in filled with pain - head down - no eye contact - soft almost inaudible voice. You should have seen her last night - a new person in Christ - head up, eye contact, smiles and a voice. WOW! We had a group of 5 women and everyone had a Damascus road experience through the 9 weeks. Pastor Frank asked great questions like "How was your perspective of God changed?" He said he was curious and he wanted to know from each of them "the thing they were taking away from the journey - the "one thing" that had the biggest impact on their life?" It was amazing! One of them shared that they did not understand the Trinity - the tabernacle - the veil. Another said it was a deeper understanding of God's holiness - a renewed intimacy with God - a greater understanding of the marriage relationship after three failed marriages. One believed that God was real but did not believe He was listening to her. God has now given her a peace from her anxiety and worries - she has "calmed down" - He gave her strength to face anniversaries that normally would have been most difficult. She told the Pastor that now she knows God is real and now she hears His voice. A marriage was restored. Children who knew that Mom and Dad did not like each other - are now seeing Mom and Dad loving one another. Another who had a lot of past shame took the class because she knew she was disconnected from God - tried to forgive herself but failed and now understands that was unbelief. She re-dedicated her life to the Lord during the study - she is getting married in December for the second time with a new walk with the Lord. A renewed view of His holiness - the piece that was missing was found. Many people were praying for this group and we are so grateful for those prayers. Thank you! We thanked the Pastor for sending the women to our group and he told us that he has more that he is going to be sending to us for our next group. God's Word - answered prayer - gifts that keep on giving!  We took a picture of the group with the Pastor in the middle. He closed us in prayer. We just had to share just a portion of what God did in our midst. - Love & Prayers, Madelyn" I love Madelyn's words above "gifts that keep on giving" because when you give a gift to Healing Hearts it does keep on giving.
