Dear Friend,


John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."

I don't know about you but these words have become so precious to me, more so today than in years past. As I look at the things that are happening in the world around me these words give me hope, that the God of the universe so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son so we could have eternal life. If God so loved us that He sent His son into this world knowing that He would have to die to pay the penalty for our sin, then we know that He loves us enough to carry us through anything that tries to overtake us in this world we live in today. That is truly GREAT news!!!!!

As we look toward this Christmas season I pray that we will be reminded of all those around us who live without hope and who desperately need the gospel that leads them to salvation. I pray that we will be bold enough to speak the truth in love to a world that is perishing. I pray that we will all be living, breathing, walking examples of the true Gospel and that all those that we come in contact with will know that we know Jesus! After all He is the reason for this season.

This year Healing Hearts celebrates 25 years of ministry. For 25 years God has given us the privilege of ministering the gospel to thousands who once lived without any hope for their future. He has given us the privilege of taking the good news to places where few will go. I'm blessed when I think of our ladies who spend their Sunday evenings at the women's prison, the leaders who faithfully serve at the women's shelters. For those leaders who have walked through the slums in Uganda to share the Good News to Muslim women over a cup of tea or who have rode the rails of a Ukranian train for 24 hours to reach women who desperately need the hope and healing that only Jesus can offer. I'm thankful for all of our trained leaders who lay down their personal agendas and sacrifice their time to minister hope and healing to a wounded world. Please lift these leaders up in your prayers as we look forward to a new year. Please pray that we would bear fruit 100 fold and that God would open even more doors of opportunity for the sake of the gospel.

There is much work to be done. We so appreciate your prayers and your financial sacrifices that help us minister hope and healing to this lost and dying world. May the Lord bless you and keep you and may He draw you near during this Christmas season.
