![Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]](https://www.healinghearts.org/nimages/HHLetterhead_Web700.png) Dear Friend, For several years now, with the help of one of our Healing Hearts Leaders, Maria Blanco and her husband Bernardo, we have been working hard to complete the translation of our Bible Studies into Spanish. Maria and Bernardo have been very gracious to volunteer their time and have done an outstanding job. As we have come near to completing these projects I've been praying and asking God how we can effectively reach out to the Spanish speaking community when we only have two Healing Hearts leaders who are bi-lingual. The need is so very great, but without workers, the task would be impossible. Although the mountain before us seemed to be unmovable I know we serve a Big GOD who can do anything, so I prayed for wisdom and direction. My main concerns as we reach out to Spanish speaking women is that we are able to disciple them in the same way that we disciple their English speaking sisters, knowing that God's Word would not be compromised and that they would be able to grow and mature into good Biblical counselors, which will enable them to disciple others. I prayed that somehow God would send me someone who was bi-lingual, who was like-minded with our philosophy of ministry, someone who could translate, teach and help us as we grow in this area. I also prayed that God would bring us women who are bi-lingual so that we could train them to do the work of the ministry. Early this year God pressed in on my heart to get the translations done and ready for printing. God provided a wonderful proof reader to go over all the materials and help correct some of the translation errors in the post-abortion study that we had translated before the Blanco's came on board. Gracie Gomez-Molnar graciously offered to help with the proof reading and some minor translation work. Gracie is a physician who was born and raised in Mexico City. I truly want to thank her for all of her help. We would not be where we are without her. In the meantime, God was at work in a very big way. Two of my Healing Hearts Leaders, one in Florida and one in Michigan came in contact with the same woman at two different conferences, who is a missionary in Peru who was very interested in our materials. One leader gave her copies of our materials to review, then she met the other leader at a later conference and discussed the ministry further and then I finally made contact with her myself. I was amazed to learn that this woman had all of the qualifications that I had prayed for and more.  Evelyn Stone has served as President of the New Life Prenatal Center in Lima, Peru since its inception in 1999. Under Evelyn's leadership the Center has grown to become the model of a dynamic, evangelistic, biblical-counseling pregnancy center in Latin America. As International Training Consultant, Evelyn travels and speaks extensively to advance Baptists For Life's mission to enable local churches all over the world to engage in compassionate sanctity of human life ministry as they fulfill the Great Commission. She has been instrumental in beginning pregnancy care centers and pro-life ministry in 12 different countries. Her commitment to education and her passion for the sufficiency of the Word of God in counseling pro-life issues such as the sanctity of human life, pregnancy, abortion, abuse, sexual integrity, and marriage, led her to develop and chair the Biblical Counseling Degree Program at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Lima, Peru. Evelyn has discovered that the pro-life ministries have enabled her and her husband, David, to be more effective as church-planting missionaries in Peru with ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism) for the past 33 years. Evelyn asked me to be a guest speaker at the International Baptists for Life conference that will be held in Lima in February 2012. I will be sharing my testimony at the conference and then will be training the leaders from several Crisis Pregnancy Centers all over Latin America to use the Healing Hearts materials. Evelyn writes, "To serve the needs of churches and pregnancy care centers in Latin America, I write and produce Spanish courses, books and videos related to Biblical counseling and publish these resources with the Light and Life Press in Lima, Peru. I thank God for the new partnership being developed with Healing Hearts Ministries International because it will provide training and sound biblical counseling courses for abused and post-abortive women. We look forward to welcoming Sue Liljenberg to Peru for our International Baptists for Life Conference in February 2012. At that time we will enable Healing Hearts Ministries International to launch their ministries in Latin America by introducing Sue to leaders of Pregnancy Care Centers from all over Peru and many countries in South America. We are excited that she will be present in person to present the very first Spanish copy of her course, Binding Up the Broken Hearted, and begin to prepare counselors to reach those broken by abortion. This material is an answer to our prayers." Not only has the Lord opened a huge door to South America to present the Healing Hearts materials, but He has also supplied us with two trainees who are bi-lingual and are trained biblical counselors to help us grow this area of ministry here in the U.S. Our faithful helper, Marlene Blanco, is not alone any longer and will have others to help and come alongside in training up more leaders in the future. This is a huge undertaking for our ministry. We desperately need your prayers and your financial support to make this possible. The demand for the Spanish materials will be great which means we need to raise money for the publication of both Bible Studies which could run around $15,000 - $20,000 here in the US, not to mention costs abroad.
