The rapid growth that we have seen this past year is truly exciting and an answer to our prayers. This will be a short letter as we are gearing up for our National Conference and leadership training which will be held in Nashville, TN on October 19-24th. Please pray for us as we gather our leaders together for a much needed time of encouragement, teaching and training. Also, pray for all of the new leaders who will be trained to go back to their home churches and get their ministries started. Our new leaders are:
October Outreaches The month of October has been a busy month for us as we have participated in two major conferences to get the word out about Healing Hearts. One conference was held in New Jersey with attendance of over 500 women and another conference was held in California with attendance of over 900 pastor's wives. Information was given at both conferences introducing our on-line bible studies, which are free of charge. The reception we received at both conferences was amazing. There is such a need for what Healing Hearts has to offer and we are so thankful that your ongoing support helps us minister to hurting individuals all over the world. I would like to share some of the testimonies we have received from our on-line studies: Thank you so much for starting this ministry! It truly has changed my life. I received an email one day from my sister-in-law about a golf tourney for Healing Hearts. I checked into the website as I had never heard of Healing Hearts before- but I wasn't ready to step into healing yet. I was still hiding and denying. A bit later, I started going to counseling for some other reasons, and I decided it was time and I started the Binding up the Brokenhearted study online. I was telling my counselor about it one day and she was interested, s0 she contacted you and went through training and now does the study at the Purdy Women's Correctional facility. I was/am truly amazed at God and how He orchestrated that. Amazing!! "T. G." This study has impacted me in so many ways. It has allowed me to draw closer to Jesus, to be more intimate with Him and to know His plans and purpose for my life... to help me realize that sometimes we have hidden things in our lives that we think we have dealt with completely until we are faced with them again and truly put them under the blood and receive His forgiveness and grace. God is so good to us and He loves us so much that He wants us to forever be in His presence, because we are His creation and He doesn't want to be apart from His creation. We are to be in fellowship with Him at all times. God has and always will want a relationship with us! We are made perfect in Him and through Him! "Wendy" An amazing journey! God is so good to work through His Word and His servants to provide healing. I did not realize how my abortion had impacted me until His Word revealed my pain and took it away. This is not a study but a tool God will use to show you how to grow closer to Him and see why you struggle. Be brave, pray hard and shoulder in, for Gods grace is sufficient. "Scott" What happened to me? When I was a new believer, I heard of back-sliders, and I remember thinking "This will never happen to me!" But guess what? A huge dark sin from the past blurred my relationship with the Most High without my even realizing it. It crept in like a cloud of despair. This study and helpful counselor not only helped me to understand and deal with my past, but also helped to repair the broken relationship I had with God. As a man who spent half a lifetime suffering from guilt, I highly recommend this in-depth study to anyone whose life has been touched by abortion, especially men. Put your foolish pride aside and jump in! It changed my life and it will change yours too! "Len" It has taken me some time, but this study has helped me uncover some things in my life that I thought I had put in my past, but were still impacting my life, relationships and most importantly my closeness to God. Through the scriptures in this study I have been able to really close this past chapter in my life and know that I have forgiveness, not only from God, but that I can forgive others to truly move forward in my life for Christ. "Shawn" This study has been such a blessing. I felt so broken and alone and through God's Word, my counselor Cheri and this study I have been given new hope and a closer walk with God. I can now understand what it truly means to abide in Christ. The whole forgiveness chapter has helped me so much and was much needed for me to grow closer with God.
