Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]

Dear Friend,

This past month I had the privilege of traveling to Texas, Oklahoma
and Missouri to encourage our leaders in those states and to meet
with their pastors and women’s ministry leaders. During my time in
Missouri I had the privilege of meeting Nomie & Craig Mills, who had
invited one of our Healing Hearts leaders, Adena DeLillo, to come to
Sweden with them on a mission which we highlighted several months
ago in one of our prayer letters. Nomie and her husband spend a
significant amount of their time ministering in Sweden and training
leaders in the church there.

As I shared more about Healing Hearts with Nomie, she shared with me
about Sweden and how much the women need our ministry. She told me
that the church there is paralyzed by the socialistic government and
everywhere she and her husband go to speak, government officials
follow them and scrutinize every thing that they say, waiting for an
excuse to keep them out of the country. The government controls
everything – even the church!

My heart broke as Nomie told me about the spiritual and social
bondage of the people in Sweden. I felt the Holy Spirit rise up
inside of me, and for just a moment I could imagine the passion
that the Apostle Paul must have felt when he was compelled by God
to preach the gospel regardless of the cost. I pray that God will
continue to grow that passion in my heart. As a nation, we are
inching closer and closer to that socialistic mindset, and the
church is getting weaker and weaker as we sit back and become
complacent about what is happening around us.

When the church becomes fearful and legalistic, it becomes silent.
According to the gospel of Luke 19:40-44, as Jesus rode into
Jerusalem and the people shouted, "Blessed is the King who comes in
the name of the Lord; Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!",
the Pharisees in the multitude said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke Your
disciples." (in other words, keep them silent).
And He answered
and said, "I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry
out!" In verse 41 it says, "And when He (Jesus) approached, He saw
the city and wept over it, saying, ‘If you had known in this day,
even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been
hidden from your eyes. For the days shall come upon you when your
enemies will throw up a bank before you, and surround you, and hem
you in on every side, and will level you to the ground and your
children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon
another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.’"

God is weeping over our complacency. He desires that we would look
at those around us in our workplaces, in our neighborhoods, at those
who are less fortunate, those who are hurting and lost and
desperately need a Savior. How will they hear unless we tell them?
We live in exciting times and have many opportunities to show the
love of God to those who are in need. God is weeping because we
have allowed the government to meet the needs of people which the
church should be meeting, and now people are in bondage to a system
where there is no hope, just like the people in Sweden. It is our
kindness and love which represent Jesus to a lost world and lead
people to the cross.

I will forever be grateful that God placed a woman in my workplace
27 years ago who loved God so much that it overflowed to me; a
woman who was not afraid or ashamed to speak the truth in love and
let me know that there was only one hope for me and that was Jesus
Christ. Her kindness and love toward me was something that I had
never known in my life. No matter how messed up my life was or how
many times I rejected her, she loved me anyway and eventually she
loved me to the cross. As a result of that one woman’s love for God
and her obedience to share the gospel with me, thousands of women
have heard the gospel and have been healed with God’s Word. We must
never become weary of doing good!
Every person matters and even if
we just lead one to the cross, that one person may lead thousands.
Whom has God placed inyou life today who needs a cool cup of
water in Jesus’ name?

Please pray for us as we move forward to translate our Bible studies
into Swedish. Pray for Nomie and Craig Mills as they work hard to
train ministry leaders in Sweden. Pray that God would guard and
protect them, that eyes and ears would be open to all that they have
to say and that the Lord would shield them from the government
authorities. Because establishing and conducting ministry there is
very difficult, we may need to rely on our e-ministry to minister to
and train the women there. One way or another, with God’s guidance,
we will do what we can to help… by touching one heart at a time.
Even if we just reach one woman with the true gospel, we know that
thousands will follow and Jesus will be glorified.

We want to thank you for your prayers and your financial gifts that
are crucial for us to accomplish everything that we do. May the Lord
bless and keep you always.

In His love
