![Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]](https://www.healinghearts.org/nimages/HHLetterhead_Web700.png) Dear Friend, Today as I write this letter it is a beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest. On days like today there is no better place in the world to live than here, but those days seem to be few and far between. We like the rest of the country have been dealing with strange weather patterns, unusual amounts of rain and cold and cloudy weather. As we look at all that is happening around us economically and politically it is easy to wonder if the Lord’s coming could be near. One thing that the Lord has impressed upon my heart during these difficult times is that we need to be steadfast in our walk with God. When times are hard and everything around us seems to be spinning out of control, can we be strong and persevere or do we run around like Henny Penny saying "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!" Because we live in a prosperous land it’s easy to let the things around us erode our trust in God and his provision and depend on ourselves. We need to be reminded that none of this is a surprise to the Lord and He is sovereign and has it all under control. The question is will we be faithful to continue the work until He comes. I pray so! In spite of the hard times financially, we are seeing God do amazing things in Healing Hearts. A few months ago Healing Hearts materials were mailed to a woman in Kenya who did not have regular access to a computer. God is receiving much glory through this contact. Here is a short reply from her: "Dear Sister, I want to tell you that you ladies you are greatly shaking us in the traditional faith that we called the truth through your teachings. The booklets you sent have a great meaning of the kingdom we are currently awaiting to come on earth. Please continue to pray and for Bible for us. By the moment my husband reads and memorise to share with the like minded brethren. Blessings, Sister Evaline" We also received word from the ladies that we trained in Uganda. The ministry is growing fast there. Although we left approximately 50 of our Bible studies with them, many of the women cannot understand English so they went to work and have already translated the Healing Hearts study into their language. Here is a brief report from Uganda: "In May we were invited to Kireka one of the outskirts of the capital City for a meeting in the slums of Banda and Kamuli B, C and A. We had the privilege to speak to the married women and the singles who gathered in that area. Many were blessed and those who have ever gone through an abortion had the passion to go through the Healing Hearts post-abortion study. We are also gratitude to Jesus Christ our Lord. We have been able to translate the post-abortion bible study into our local language so that also those who do not understand English may also benefit from it. Ah many are going to be blessed through this interpreted manual since it has been our greatest barrier in the areas of post-abortion outreach. Blessings Veronica & Harriet" This past month we have also received an inquiry from Ireland. Please pray for our foreign outreach as it is growing rapidly. Pray that God will show us how we can continue ministry in light of the current economic situation. We know He has a plan as He would not send these precious people to us unless He wanted us to minister to them. Please pray for the following:
I would like to leave you with a testimony from a man who just completed the men’s study online. This Bible study is what the Lord wanted for me. I wish it were mandatory study for every Christian. Though I did not take part in the decision to have an abortion with my wife (she'd had it before I met her) she, and indeed we were suffering, as a result of it. After my wife left our family, I "accidentally" found Healting Hearts after a search on the web for Post Abortive Counseling. I see it was no accident it was God's hand of loving providence. He is the answer for the ills that we suffer. He alone is the One that can help us. And He did help me and my wife by my doing this study. I have been shown the kind of man I need to be for my own walk with God, and as the head of my household. Only time will tell what will happen with my wife and family, but the anger and bitterness that I have clung to is let go, thanks to the freedom experienced in Christ. Though a Christian most of my life, Wounded Warrior has taken the scriptures and applied them in a way that was absolutely, wonderfully used by God to have me see the way I need to live.
