![Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]](https://www.healinghearts.org/nimages/HHLetterhead_Web700.png) Dear Friend,  Over the next few months, Healing Hearts will have exciting opportunities to share about our ministry at several conferences throughout the United States. We will have a notable presence at Answers for Women: Reclaim (April 1-6, Kentucky), G3: The Reformation Conference (May 9-11, Texas), and CAPE-NM Homeschool Convention (June 28-29, New Mexico). To the average passerby at our booth who has not yet discovered Healing Hearts, we might appear to be offering just another set of Bible studies. But, as you know, our counselor-led studies are so much more. One of our study participants recently testified, “No amount of serving in the church, listening to worship music, attending church services, and Bible studies can heal you if you are being held captive.” For the past 35 years, Isaiah 61:1-4 has served as our ministry’s foundational Scripture. It’s been Healing Hearts’ mission “…to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners…” What a joy it is to help unlock the healing truths of God’s Word for those afflicted and broken by sin. We are convinced that only God’s Word has the power to set captives free from abuse, bitterness, addictions, anger, rape, pornography, abortion, and other life-dominating struggles. And in the crowds of people we will encounter at these events, there will be too many who need to personally hear our message and too little time to reach them. With that in mind, we would covet your prayers before and during these events.
At each event, we hope to clearly present the unique, life-transforming qualities of our ministry—the way our certified counselors promote intimacy and acceptance of each individual’s journey; our commitment to confront sin and guide participants into realizing the depth of their sin; teaching that provides a deeper understanding of decisions, consequences, redemption, and restoration at a soul level; encouragement to participants as they wrestle with ongoing sin or sins they may have overlooked; and deep study that reveals the incredible wealth of guidance, direction, and truth written in the Word of God. In closing this letter, we thought you’d be encouraged by reading the complete testimony of Beatrice, whom we quoted earlier, as she tells the story of how she was finally set free from the guilt and shame of her abortion after participating in our Binding Up the Brokenhearted study:  “I had my abortion at the age of 21 in 1985. I was forever changed and scarred by the lies that I believed about abortion and Planned Parenthood. I lived a life of shame and regret for over 35 years. I finally came forward a few years ago and confessed that I had an abortion to a woman who had spoken about the sanctity of life and the devastating effects of abortion. I decided to volunteer on the sidewalk as a pro-life missionary, which I have been doing for almost three years. But I still felt shame and guilt.It wasn`t until I took this study that God showed me His mercy, love, and forgiveness. I have truly been set free. I absolutely feel like a new creature in Christ. My invisible chains and prison have been broken for the first time in 38 years. No amount of serving in the church, listening to worship music, attending church services, and Bible studies can heal you if you are being held captive. I only have my Savior Jesus to thank for setting me free. I have given my testimony at a few prayer walks and at three services at my church. All because of God`s strength, grace, and mercy, I was able to share. I believe that every woman who has had an abortion should take this study to be forever forgiven, forever changed, forever healed, and forever loved!!!” - Beatrice As you pray for our upcoming events and outreaches, join us in asking the Lord to lead more captives like Beatrice to freedom and restoration in His Word. At the same time, pray that the Lord would help you see the individuals in your life who need to know about Healing Hearts, and for the boldness to point them to healinghearts.org/get-help-now so they can connect with one of our compassionate counselors. We believe Jesus is worthy of a multitude of “Beatrices” praising His name for the healing and redemption He has won for them. In light of Easter, I pray that you will have a richly blessed Resurrection Day celebrating our Savior’s victory over sin and death. Oh, what a Savior we have!
