![Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]](https://www.healinghearts.org/nimages/HHLetterhead_Web700.png) Dear Friend,  This month, we’ve asked our three Regional Directors from the East Coast to share updates and prayer requests from their respective states. There is much to be praying for! Please join us in lifting up our directors, the women and men ministering with them in their states, and the communities and individuals they are impacting. You can get in touch with any of our Regional Directors by visiting www.healinghearts.org/regional-directors/leadership-team/Donna Murgola, Region #6 - Northeast (15 HH Certified Biblical Counselors)  My leaders are usually ministering to several women at a time, but we recently had an unusually slow period of ministry this past Spring. I told them that this was just a time of refreshing and to get ready! Well, just a few weeks ago the ministry started blowing up again. Even I have 4 clients and a trainee!! Some of the clients we are serving are post-abortive, but have been reluctant to do our postabortive study, “Binding Up the Brokenhearted”, so we are currently taking them through our “The Hem of His Garment” study. Pray with me that once they get healing in other areas of their life, they will reconsider taking “Binding Up the Brokenhearted” so that they can receive healing for their abortions. Near me, in Jersey City, pro-choice protests seem to be happening consistently. Sadly, high school students seem to be the ones taking up the mantle and seriously protesting the overturn of Roe v. Wade. It's sad to see so many of our young people in the dark when it comes to this issue. That used to be me. With the political and social climate around abortion right now, I’d ask for prayers for the Church to become an even greater witness. It's one thing to give diapers and baby clothes to help support a pregnancy in the beginning but that can't be the end of it. I have a church board meeting soon and I am going to present something for our church to possibly help beyond pregnancies. We’ll see what happens! Marci Morehead, Region #7 - Appalachia (11 HH Certified Biblical Counselors)  We currently have 11 leaders (9 active) in Region 7 leading live groups and online clients through Healing Hearts Bible Studies. I appreciate every leader's heart for the ministry and their efforts to provide healing and hope through our ministries' Bible Studies. Please pray for Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia as we currently do not have any active leaders serving there yet. Pray for trainees and leaders to rise up in those three states. If you know of any contacts in those states, especially in churches or ministries, please let me know so that we can reach out. (Of course, we’d welcome all contact referrals from your home state, too!) Also, please lift up the leaders that are currently in Kentucky and North Carolina. Our desire is to grow more leaders throughout the whole region, and your prayers are appreciated. We currently have three trainees going through the process of becoming leaders. Please pray for them and guide them in the direction that God has planned for their potential involvement in Healing Hearts. My husband, RW, and I were also able to speak to classes in our church and received great feedback and excellent support. He is also leading a live group and has three clients online. Leslie Maloney, Region #8 - Southeast (11 HH Certified Biblical Counselors)  Currently, we have 11 leaders (6 active) with 2 in training. Recently, we’ve had five leaders need to take a leave of absence due to family and personal situations. Please lift them up in prayer. Additionally, please pray for new leaders to be raised up, for the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few. We have several live studies going on concurrently with some one-on-ones.Region 8 leaders have been steadfast and committed despite the pandemic and current political climate. Please continue to pray that they do not grow weary. Please pray for continued family and church support for them. We also have a men’s group starting up in South Carolina that you can be lifting up as well. Currently we have no representation in Florida, Louisiana , or Mississippi. Pray that God will raise up leaders in these states. Region 8 laws currently stand as follows on abortion:
