Dear Friend,



At Healing Hearts, we work hard to provide thorough, Bible-based training to those in leadership positions. Equipping is a key pillar of our ministry’s model—being committed to take what God has taught us through His Word and entrusting it “to faithful people who will be able to teach others also”
(2 Timothy 2:2). After we EVANGELIZE and HEAL, training is the stage where we EQUIP and then SEND.

As you pray for our ministry, this month we’d like to invite you to pray in particular for our training efforts in the following areas:

LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Did you know that every one of our Healing Hearts Certified Counselors has completed a rigorous training process? When a former Bible study participant enters Healing Hearts leadership training, they work hard to learn the principles of Biblical Counseling and effective ways to get ministries started in their home churches. Their training includes reading books, writing essays, watching videos, and practice counseling sessions—all under the careful mentorship of a Healing Hearts Trainer. Our leadership training process can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to complete. As you can see, this is no small commitment! Currently, we have 21 trainees diligently working through their leadership training.

PRAY WITH US that each trainee be disciplined with their time; that they would grow in their knowledge and ability to minister to others; that they would do this through the Lord’s strength, not their own; that their local church would be an encouraging place for them to minister.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE
Did you know that we plan a Healing Hearts National Conference every year to provide our leaders with continued training and encouragement? Each September, we come together to lift one another up and learn more about how God’s Word applies to specific counseling topics. September 23-26, we’ll be gathering in Dallas to sit under special teaching sessions by Rev. Chris Moles on topics of abuse. Other teachers will be taking us through Ephesians 4-6 to examine what it means to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling by which you have been called.”
With the release of our new men’s study, “The Good Fight..God’s Plan For Every Man,”
and the many other accomplishments of this past year, we have a lot to cover with our leaders!

PRAY WITH US that our conference will be an effective time of fellowship and instruction; that we will be strengthened by God’s Word for the work ahead; that we will be a good witness to the hotel staff ; that everyone will be in good health and have safe travels to and from the event.

Each year at our National Conference, we take special joy in getting to recognize our newest leaders who have graduated from training. Since we were unable to have our National Conference last year due to the Covid restrictions, we’ll be celebrating two years’ worth of new leaders this year!

Healing Hearts Ministries is a federally registered non-profit corporation, all contributions are tax deductible. One hundred percent of all contributions made to Healing Hearts go directly toward supporting the various aspects of our ministry no "administrative fee" is collected by a fund-raising service. All donations and expenditures are internally and independently monitored and audited. Annual financial statements are available upon request.
