Dear Friend,


Can you believe that we are quickly approaching the one year mark of the beginning of COVID-19 restrictions in our country? For many of our youth, it has been almost an entire year of virtual academic learning and delayed (or canceled) social happenings.

How are our youth coping with the prolonged mandates, restrictions, and mask-wearing (not to mention the societal debates over these things)? Not only has a pandemic hit, but our country has been battered with widespread natural disasters, and much civil unrest has occurred. These are serious times. Each teen is, in some shape or form, trying to process what is going on around them, and a majority of them are struggling.

We know from God’s Word that trials reveal what’s in the heart. While trials can be daunting and overwhelming, God actually uses them to point out our need for Jesus and to cause us to grow and change through His Word.

The good news is that Healing Hearts offers some incredible resources for parents and teens in the midst of these concerning times. As we look forward with expectant hope to what God will do in 2021, I would humbly urge you to consider how you can make a difference in the lives of the young people God has placed in your life.

We’ve got a few ideas for you...

  • Host a one-day Spring Conference at your church (or in-home) using our Walking Together: Mothers & Daughters Growing in Christ video curriculum!

    We’ve tailored this material to be used with either large audiences or small gatherings. If you would prefer to keep your meeting size small, you can use this curriculum as a 5-week small group study in your home or online. What a wonderful way to get connected to God’s Word (and each other) following a year of distancing and divide!

  • Mentor a youth using one of our youth Bible studies to help them get to the matters of the heart.

    Last year, in the middle of COVID-19 restrictions in their state, one group of girls experienced remarkable life transformation together as they worked through the First Love Bible study over Zoom. Watch the following video to hear their story. (Imagine--you could make this kind of difference, too!)

More than anything, we want you to know that during these hard times, Healing Hearts Ministries is praying for you and your families. For faithful mentors who can creatively minister when meeting in person is not possible;
For this generation to come to a saving faith!

Healing Hearts Ministries is a federally registered non-profit corporation, all contributions are tax deductible. One hundred percent of all contributions made to Healing Hearts go directly toward supporting the various aspects of our ministry no "administrative fee" is collected by a fund-raising service. All donations and expenditures are internally and independently monitored and audited. Annual financial statements are available upon request.
