Dear Friend,


What an encouragement to us are the Apostle Paul’s words, “Let us not lose heart,” as we consider the challenges presently facing our ministry. In Matthew 9:27, Jesus says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” These words ring just as true in 2019 for Healing Hearts Ministries. Of course, this is not to cast shade on any of our incredible “few”—counselors, trainees, volunteers and donors (like you!)

Together, we have done – and continue to do – AMAZING Gospel work...

Throughout the 2018/19 fiscal year, our “few” (193 Certified Counselors,  29 Trainees)
  worked faithfully for “the harvest” of 403 group clients and 186 online clients (that’s 17,000+  
    counseling hours!) across 29 U.S. States,  10 countries,  and 119 affiliated churches.
      And let’s not overlook the 800+ youth studies we’ve distributed this year.

This represents a 36% increase in clients over our previous fiscal year (which, itself, was a 12% increase from the fiscal year prior)!

The fact of the matter is, we are working harder than ever to meet a harvest demand that is greater than ever. The current political climate, which has pushed the abortion issue into the spotlight, continues to result in an increased demand for our post-abortive counseling services, and our counselors continue to work at or above capacity. They are routinely backlogged with online e-clients, managing 2-3 at a time. The harvest is so great, we can’t grow fast enough!

Even while demand for our service grows, we are facing the reality of tighter finances that all non-profits across the board are presently experiencing. Statistics show that while there has been a consistent annual increase in the amount of help that people need from non-profits, the funds to support them have only held steady or decreased.* This trend is certainly true for Healing Hearts.

Many of you give regularly and sacrificially. The fact that we’re still here is evidence of that—we wouldn’t be doing what we do without you and we cannot thank you enough! Even so, the need continues to be greater than we can meet, and we need more “workers” when it comes to our financial support.

So, here at the year-end of 2019, we humbly appeal to you as friends and supporters.

Would you consider becoming more involved as a donor in one or more of the following ways?
  • Become a regular monthly donor (see special offer below*)
  • Increase your existing monthly donation (from $25/mo to $50/mo, etc)

  • Set up an employer-matched giving program
  • Donate stock
  • Designate us as your charity with Amazon’s Smile program for your online shopping
     (To date, we’ve received over $1,600 through Amazon Smile!)
  • Introduce us to a friend who would be interested in supporting something you are passionate about

We never want to be in the position to say “no” to a viable ministry opportunity or be left unable to meet a need in a timely fashion because we are understaffed. Unfortunately, this is exactly what is happening every day because we simply don’t have adequate resources. Your funds help us keep developing the ministry resources that are required to meet each opportunity head-on.

Healing Hearts Ministries is a federally registered non-profit corporation, all contributions are tax deductible. One hundred percent of all contributions made to Healing Hearts go directly toward supporting the various aspects of our ministry no "administrative fee" is collected by a fund-raising service. All donations and expenditures are internally and independently monitored and audited. Annual financial statements are available upon request.
