![Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]](https://www.healinghearts.org/nimages/HHLetterhead_Web700.png) Dear Friend,  I’m writing to you today asking for prayer for a nation in crisis, for those who have been wounded by the sin of abortion, and for Healing Hearts as we work tirelessly to handle the demand for our post-abortion counseling services.One only has to turn on the news to know that America is fast and furiously going down a slippery slope. The pro-death culture that has grown exponentially over the 46 years since our Supreme Court legalized abortion-on-demand is shocking. As of today, in some of our states, a child is not even safe from being killed after its birth. With third trimester and after-birth abortion being such a prominent topic in the news, we have been flooded with requests for counseling. Women and men who once made the choice to abort their child are being confronted by the reality of their decision like never before. They are wounded and they need our help.  No wonder our online counseling enrollments have jumped to nearly 100 active clients, with new requests coming in daily. This current influx has pushed our online team of Healing Hearts Certified Counselors to their max capacity as they try to balance serving incoming post-abortion clients, current abortion clients, and the many clients who have not had abortions.As we strive to connect each client with a trained, compassionate counselor, it is our hope that many of these new clients might become part of God’s plan to raise up more post-abortive counselors to meet the growing need. This situation brings to mind the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Cor. 7:9-10: “I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to [the point of] repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to [the will of] God, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. For the sorrow that is according to [the will of] God produces a repentance without regret, [leading] to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.” What a great hope to know that what Satan has meant for evil, God will use for good! Please continue to lift up our ministry in your prayers daily. Taking into consideration that there have been well over 69 million abortions performed since Roe vs Wade (and this number only represents the 29 states in the US who even report abortions), we clearly have a lot of work to do, and we need God’s wisdom and provisions to meet the overwhelming need.  SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: WE’VE MOVED!Effective March 1st, our headquarters will be officially relocated to Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Why? Four years ago, after my husband retired from Boeing, we moved to New Mexico. As the robust Washington economy continued to grow, it became apparent that Healing Hearts’ overhead costs were rapidly increasing, and managing a growing ministry from afar was becoming more difficult. The cost of doing business in Washington State is approximately 20% higher than in New Mexico. As we prayed and sought God’s guidance regarding a possible relocation of the ministry, God opened doors with every step forward. You might be wondering, “Will this move change ministry operations in Washington State or elsewhere?” Aside from changing where we receive our mail and send it from, no other operations will change. Our leadership structure of Regional Directors, State Coordinators and Area Coordinators will remain intact, directly overseeing, supporting, and training our growing numbers of nearly 200 active Healing Hearts Certified Counselors worldwide. Washington State will continue its trajectory of growth under WA State Coordinator Susan Owen (a 20 year veteran of HH), along with her four Area Coordinators and 50 HH Certified Counselors. As we transition, we are so thankful for the fruit we have seen in our “birth state” of Washington, across the nation, and around the globe. Thank you for helping us spread this ministry to your community and beyond! We appreciate your prayers throughout this transition and are forever grateful for your love and financial support.
