![Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]](https://www.healinghearts.org/nimages/HHLetterhead_Web700.png) Dear Friend,  Over two years ago we worked with Pastor Larry Eckton and his church, Calvary Denver Downtown, to help a church in Zambia minister to their congregation and community using Healing Hearts materials.Pastor Larry has been working with Pastor Maybin Mwaba and his wife, Gladys, for many years and felt that bringing Healing Hearts materials to their village in Ndola, Zambia would benefit their outreach ministries to AIDS orphans, jobless youth, widows, and women being led out of lives of prostitution. Little did any of us know what God was going to do, but this report from Pastor Maybin, in his own words, is such an encouraging testament to the work God does when we faithfully follow his lead: Dear Pastor Larry, I wish to give a report on the meetings that we held under Healing Hearts Ministries. Thank God we had meetings we started with the Youths on 12th December 2015 and we had 26 boys and girls in attendance. The introduction of Healing Hearts Ministries, how it was started with aims and objectives. Furthermore we talked abortion and we asked the youths "Do have some ideas about this animals called Abortion?" The response was yes and another question was, "Do Christians commits abortions?" The response was yes! At first the youths were not very frees with Gladys and I to discuss the real issues of sex and life. The youths confesses that in our society we don't have elderly person who could stand with them in their struggles. We talked at length and we discovered that these youths needed enough time to discuss real issues of life. The youths told us that there are a lot of real issues and the struggles that they face each day that comes. But they don't have anyone elderly person who could come and share hope to this world because there are a lot of condemation and hopelessness into this world. But Jesus is the hope of glory He brings the forgiveness of sins in our personal lives.  Then we talked about the Abortion and its consequences of this sin. After presentation the boys and girls were very sober and the mood became very touching and solemn movement. Everyone became sober and just asking God to forgive them. The Lord just intervenes and He moved mightly. After that I gave them a chance to surrender their Lives to Jesus.12 boys and girls gave their lives to Jesus! It was exciting moments to see Jesus serving these children. Among the youths, there was a young girl age 17 years named Loveness Kunda. Little do I know that she was pregnant and she had a plan with relatives of having abortion on 14th Monday December 2015. But after teaching on abortion and the forgiveness of God upon everyone when she went home she changed her mind not to abort. On Monday she came home crying and told me that the mother wanted the abortion to take place but Loveness said I can't do that because God loves and cares for me. On 13th October 2015 we had a couples meeting and it was lovely moment. One couple acknowledged the issue of abortion. Pastor Larry, we are very grateful to you and your support and your passion for the Kingdom. This ministry is very powerful and inspirational. I have thank you God for this Kingdom. Although we have never met them our hearts are with them. PLEASE PRAY WITH US for Maybin and Glady's ministry in Zambia; that God would use these dear servants to bring His message of hope and healing to the brokenhearted of Ndola; for faithful ministers to be raised up to join them in this critical work; that God will further His kingdom in Zambia and beyond!
