![Healing Hearts Ministries Internaional [LOGO]](https://www.healinghearts.org/nimages/HHLetterhead_Web700.png) Dear Friend, As Valentine's Day approaches with chocolates, red roses, and pastel candy hearts many teenagers and young adults dream about that "special" someone. However, current culture argues that a young woman's romantic crush just might be another young woman. Society debates that for a young man another tall, dark, and handsome young man might be who he is pursuing. More than ever this message is being thrust upon our kids, "You can choose what you want to be and who you want to be with when it comes to your gender and sexual orientation." There are even sex education classes, funded by Planned Parenthood, being taught to freshmen in High School using catchy, albeit strange visual aids. Are you discouraged after reading/watching this? Oh, dear friend, please don't be! God's Word has the answers, the Truth which sets us free! And, Jesus gives us everlasting hope in Him. Healing Hearts is committed to fighting the battle for truth by healing one heart at a time... from the very beginning in a young woman's heart. Our Bible study for young women, First Love: Embracing a Love that Lasts, biblically addresses the topic of gender and sexuality in a truthful and grace-filled way to those who may be confused or struggling with same-sex attraction as well as other various sin struggles. First Love is being used all over the country in homes, youth groups, homeschool co-ops, and residential living centers with tremendous impact!  Many people question whether a young woman would really stick with a 22-week discipleship study. Well, we have seen that when young women study God's Word in a way that applies to real-life and have fun doing it, they want to keep growing in Christ, knowing Him more intimately as their 'first love' every day.What better Valentine can they have in this life besides Jesus??? If you are considering taking a young woman in your life through the First Love Bible study, you can find more information at www.healinghearts.org/firstlove. It can be a temptation for us to be discouraged when we know Planned Parenthood is funneling millions of dollars into programs that drive students further and further away from God and His beautiful design for life and sexuality. But, we put our hope in God to provide for on-going needs in Healing Hearts Ministries. We know that God primarily uses His people to help with provision for His work. In order for Healing Hearts to continue meeting this year's goals of further reaching the needs of broken men, women, youth and their families, Healing Hearts Ministries' operating budget will exceed $380,000 in expenses - which includes key development within our Youth Division to provide life-changing services and materials like First Love. We humbly ask you to consider giving monthly, or with a one-time or matching gift to help us see lives changed in 2015.
