Patricia Wallace’s Walk for Freedom
Hi! I’m Patricia Wallace! I am a Healing Hearts Counselor, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother. I am also celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary this year! God has truly blessed me! I do not deserve all the blessing He has given me. As a teen, I had an abortion. That abortion cost the life of my first child. For years, I struggled with the guilt that comes with abortion. Even though I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, that sin just hung over my head like a black cloud following me everywhere I went. One day, while reading my Bible, I came across Psalm 103:12. “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us”! In that moment, I realized God had TRULY forgiven me! The weight I had been carrying on my back from my abortion was completely lifted off- never more to oppressed me! I accepted God’s COMPLETE forgiveness! I was/am so free! I told my Lord if there is ANY WAY I could help anyone to be able to be free from guilt like I am, I would do it! For several years, I aimlessly helped people. I got involved in a pregnancy center where I heard about Healing Hearts Ministries and knew that was the missing tool I needed to be able to minister to post abortive people! This is a Christ-centered, gospel driven ministry! It can lead clients through a bible study, drawing us to the foot of the cross, leaving us completely healed! There are so many people who have believed lies about abortion, that it’s no big deal, it’s not a baby, it’s just tissue. After the abortion, they are overcome with remorse. We realize we were lied to. Healing Hearts Ministries is THE answer I was searching out to be able to reach people who have been lied to! We also have a few other studies like “The Hem of His Garment” which is very helpful to women who have not had an abortion but have areas in their life that needs God’s healing. We also have studies for men and teens.
This is my first walk for Healing Hearts Ministries. This is also the year I celebrate my 50th wedding anniversary. Hubby and I will be doing an RV trip in Alaska and much hiking is anticipated. I thought “what better place to do a walk”! Right.?!! So, let’s get going and raise some financial support for this God-centered ministry. I pray you will join me in prayer and support.
