Mary Lorence’s Walk for Freedom
My name is Mary and I am a Healing Hearts Certified Biblical Counselor in Michigan.
When I was 24, I ended my pregnancy with an abortion. On the outside, I looked like I was fine. But on the inside I felt guilt, shame and brokenness. That was until I was freed by God’s Word through the Healing Hearts Bible study for post-abortive women. That was 25 years ago! I wanted to help other women experience the healing that I had. Since that time I have been involved with Healing Hearts by leading individuals and groups through Bible studies. Many of these women have gone on to become Healing Hearts leaders also. I am passionate about Healing Hearts because it is a ministry that helps women who have suffered from trauma in their lives and are looking for freedom from their pain. I am so fortunate to be able to watch God’s healing hand work in their lives as it did in my life so many years ago.
I pray that you will help support this ministry that, through God, has given hope, healed, and set free so many from the pain of their past.
This year I am going to go on my Walk for Freedom with my Healing Hearts friend, Cassandra, in Colorado! We are traveling to Rocky Mountain National Park where we will hike trails that we’ve planned out ahead of time. Join us by supporting this fundraiser in the mountains.
