Julie Bashore’s Walk for Freedom
My name is Julie and I am a Healing Hearts certified Biblical counselor in Minnesota.
I kept my abortion a BIG secret for 13 years until I was freed by God’s Word through the Healing Hearts Bible study for post-abortive women called “Binding Up the Brokenhearted.” For the past 20 years, have been involved with Healing Hearts, leading Bible studies and training new leaders. I LOVE to see God’s Word change women completely from the inside out, just like I experienced. One of my Bible study participants shared this:
“I found the Healing Hearts Bible study when I was grieving the aftermath of my abortions. I was depressed, alone and felt abandoned. I feared the wrath of God for my decisions. What a privilege to see how God continues to use brokenness for His glory to help other strugglers like me walk with Him in freedom and not be bound by their past. I love how she ends her story, encouraging others to find healing in Jesus Christ. To do this, I need your help!
Healing Hearts is 100% funded by donations from people just like you, people just like my mom (pictured in photo with me). Every year, she supported my walk and worked at the donation table when she was able. She passed away last month, so I am dedicating my walk this year to her. Our relationship had its struggles, but healing came as I studied God’s Word in the Hem of His Garment Bible study.
