Sue Liljenberg, Founder & President
Sue is the Founding Director of Healing Hearts Ministries and acts as Executive Director. Healing Hearts Ministries was birthed from Sue’s personal experience with an abortion at the age of 18 and all of the emotional and physical complications that followed. In 1982, she experienced healing from her abortion through Jesus Christ and felt led to comfort other women who have experienced the same trauma. Using the Bible as a foundation, she has counseled women since 1984 and is the author of three Bible studies that have ministered to women across the United States and around the world. Sue was married to Gary Liljenberg in 1984 and is the stepmother to his three sons, Tim, Tom, and Mark and a proud grandmother of three granddaughters, Emma, Malia and Mikayla. Sue is a former Boeing employee and her husband has worked as a Maintenance Machinist at the Boeing Company since 1968. Sue and Gary attend South Hill Calvary Chapel in Puyallup, Washington.
Judy Hansen, Secretary
Judy has been with Healing Hearts Ministries since 1991 and has been the driving force in developing and overseeing its biblical training program. Judy has been involved in Christian ministries since 1982. She has had oversight for women's ministry, small group ministry, counseling ministry and she and her husband, Doug, have conducted bi-annual pre-marital classes in their local church. She and Doug were married in 1978 and attend Renton Christian Center in Renton, Washington.
Dan Morton, Member at large
Dan Morton was introduced to Healing Hearts Ministry through his daughter, Lindsy and his wife, Stacy. Lindsy leads worship for various Healing Hearts celebrations, conferences and events. Dan met Sue Liljenberg and was led by God to become involved in Healing Hearts Ministries. Dan is currently a Sr. Director of Professional Services with Hitachi Data Systems and has been in the IT industry for 30+ years in different management roles and responsibilities. His ministry background has included more than 25 years in children’s ministry, including teaching and leadership roles, the majority of this time at Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa, CA. He was also involved in ministry work with American Hospital Missions at a drug rehabilitation center in Long Beach, California during the mid 1990’s. Dan resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife Stacy. He has three grown children, Nate, Leslie, and Lindsy and five grandchildren.
Jeff Colón, Member at large
Jeff Colón is the President and Board Director of Pure Life Ministries and is a minister of the Assemblies of God. He is also a certified biblical counselor through the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC) as well as a book and article author including From Ashes to Beauty, the Ministry’s signature book on marriage restoration. Jeff holds an MDiv and BA in Biblical Counseling from Master’s International School of Divinity. He has been with the Ministry since January 1994.
Tom Blangiardo – Member at large
Tom Blangiardo serves as the Vice President, Director of Ministry Outreach and Board Director of Pure Life Ministries. Tom holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from New York University. He has over 30 years of executive, financial and marketing management experience in a variety of settings and industries. Tom first served PLM starting in 2004 as the Ministry’s Business Manager.
